Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year for 2009

Leading Parent Partnership (LPPA) update:
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support for this initiative.
We decided to embark on LPPA following the OFSTED inspection and the framework has helped us in working with you as partners in your child’s education and lifelong learning. It has been an opportunity to improve what we do and to involve you in that process.
The LPPA assessor spent a day in school last week looking through all the collected evidence as an interim assessment. We are very pleased with the outcome and the support for suggested areas for evidence gathering; one of which is the collection of evidence from activities / parent involvement that have taken place. Please continue to help us by completing evaluation forms or leaving a comment on a response board. Your comments and suggestions are valued and we do analyse them to identify our next activities - an example of which is the plan to organise Reading workshops this academic year.
The assessors were extremely impressed with the number of parents who attend events, help in school in a variety of ways and are generally involved in the life of the school. I’d like to thank you for this support and the enrichment this brings to the school for the benefit of all our children.
Thank you for your continued support.
